| I'm heart shaped and have a waxy
quality, which causes some people to think I'm artificial. There
are hundreds of species of me, all perennials. I range in color
for pure white, all shades of pink, orange, all shades of red and
even green. I vary in sizes from miniature to huge flowers like
the Obake. I last as long as 4 weeks when cut. |

Growing Instructions: Plant me in 1 part peat moss and 2 parts
perlite or sponge rock. Good drainage is essential for survival. It will
be best to grow my plant indoors or in a greenhouse. Shade from sunlight
is necessary, and it should range from 60 to 90 percent for full sunlight.
My plant will thrive if the temperature range from 65 at night to 80
during the day. Water daily and mist around the plant for added humidity. |
